Our Story
We proudly serve a broad range of clientele including the leading oil majors, offshore contractors and state-owned oil companies, providing underwater maintenance and repair services to drilling rigs, semi-sub operators, FPSO owners, flotels, and more.
With over 200 full-time diver-technicians, supported by project managers and specialist engineers, we have the depth of in-house expertise to safely handle a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks. We undertake this in full class compliance and cooperation with overhaul specialists around the world to provide a simple, complete safe turn-key solution for your project, minimizing down-time and any associated costs.
FADLAN Engineering, INC is well known for generating direct savings in scheduled thruster overhauls and repairs, with de-mounting and re-mounting via our proprietary technology thereby minimizing the cost and time required.
In addition, as the leading underwater class A wet-welding specialists and underwater project managers we can also provide asset integrity repair work for assets to deliver strategic, long-term life-time extension repair projects on older FPSO’s and other units in locations like Africa, Brazil, the Caribbean, Americas, Singapore and Asia-Pacific. Helping our clients to extend the safe and useful utilization time of their assets (via fully class approved permanent wet-welding techniques) and avoiding allocation of high capex budgets for asset renewals.
Specialized Underwater Maintenance and Repairs
FADLAN Engineering, INC is also able to offer our specialist underwater ROV hull cleaning and inspection services for the offshore floating production sector. Using in-house proven technology, we have cleaned offshore FPSO and FSO units in Europe and other locations, over a wide range of biofouling conditions- both micro and macro-fouling.
This ROV hull cleaning can also serve as a useful condition monitoring role and this can often be combined with other services like class in-water survey inspections by either diver or inspection ROV services, anode replacement maintenance, or repairs to overboard like sea chests or scrubbers.
In the event you have an offshore underwater requirement that is not mentioned above, please contact us to discuss your specifics.

We credit our outstanding safety record to the effectiveness of our people, our programs, and our policies.

People
Our safety culture is based on leading by example and working as a team in everything we do. We watch out for one another and stay vigilant to protect our teammates from hazards.
Everyone understands their role in our safety culture and their responsibility to use their Stop-Work Authority to correct unsafe conditions before they become incidents.
Programs
We design our safety programs to educate and empower our workforce to make safety-conscious decisions that protect the health and well being of their teammates without fear of retribution.
We seek to identify hazards early and take steps to mitigate them effectively. Our safety team continually supports our field technicians to help them succeed and comply with the programs we have established to keep them safe.

Policies
We carefully develop our safety policies to achieve our operational needs without compromising the health and safety of our workforce. Policies undergo a strict review and approval process with the Subsea Global Solutions Safety Committee, subject-matter experts, and senior management.
HSE conducts daily, weekly, and monthly meetings to discuss ways to improve our policies to take advantage of lessons learned and prevent future incidents.
